The short version

The National Blasting Registry is a public directory of dry ice blasting companies. We don't sell your data, we don't run ads, and we try to collect as little personal information as possible. This policy explains what we do collect and why.

What we collect

We collect two types of information:

• Business information — Company names, addresses, phone numbers, websites, and industry categories that appear in the public directory. This information is sourced from public records and operator submissions.
• Contact information — If you email us to claim a listing or inquire about Premium, we receive your name and email address. We use this only to respond to your request.

We do not collect payment information directly. If payment processing is introduced, it will be handled by a third-party provider (such as Stripe) subject to their own privacy policy.

What we don't collect

• We do not require account registration to use the directory
• We do not collect or store visitor names, emails, or personal details from directory browsing
• We do not sell, rent, or share personal data with third parties for marketing purposes

Third-party services

The directory uses the following third-party services which have their own data practices:

• Google Maps — Used to display the interactive map. Google may collect usage data and set cookies when you interact with the map. See Google's Privacy Policy for details.
• Squarespace — This website is hosted on Squarespace, which may collect standard web analytics data such as page views and browser information.
• Google Sheets — Company listing data is stored in Google Sheets. No visitor data is stored there.

Cookies

We don't set our own cookies. Google Maps may set cookies as part of its service when you interact with the map on the directory page. You can control cookie preferences through your browser settings.

Business listings

If your business is listed in the directory and you'd like to update or remove your information, please contact us at the email below. We'll process your request within 5 business days.

Premium listing operators may request removal of their enhanced listing content (photos, descriptions, reviews) at any time by canceling their Premium subscription or contacting us directly.

International visitors

The National Blasting Registry is operated from Washington State, USA. If you are visiting from outside the United States — including from Canada or the European Union — please be aware that any information you provide may be transferred to and processed in the United States.

We comply with applicable data protection principles and will honor requests to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you.

Changes to this policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. When we do, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the directory after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
